  • Fixed an issue with save games bloating
  • Fixed CTDs caused by the Liberian and Somali civil wars
  • Fixed save games getting corrupted due to a broken bankrupcy event (praise Jebus!)

Focus Trees

  • NEW FOCUS TREES: China, France, Italy, Myanmar, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Syria & Ukraine
  • American tree rebalanced
  • Brazilian tree rebalanced
  • Japanese tree got reworked
  • Germany’s focus Dismantle Democracy should now correctly set NPD in power
  • Reworked a lot of Ethiopian focuses
  • Rebalanced some of the generic tree focuses
  • Added money/internal faction/influence effects to a lot of older focus trees

Decisions

  • Decisions to boost your Outlook no longer have an upfront PP cost but instead reduce your daily PP. Also halved drift effect
  • Added decisions to some countries to change their flag/name depending on ruling party ideology
  • Added decision to remove USAID
  • South China Sea system for China, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines to either compete or cooperate over resources

Events

  • Events that upgrade your economic cycle also update your tax income
  • Fixed Libyan civil war winner not being renamed back to Libya
  • Fixed Angolan civil war peace event not firing

Ideas

  • Added Commonwealth of Nations national spirit
  • Added ECOWAS national spirit

Gameplay/Mechanics

  • Added a mechanic for demobilising child soldiers if recruited
  • Internal faction bonuses now depend on their opinion of the regime
  • International recognition system for aspiring states, rival governments to acquire recognition and political power by influencing other countries
  • Cyber warfare mechanic
  • SCO mechanic linked to the Chinese tree - Asian countries can join the SCO and benefit from development assistance and military exercise decisions
  • Added WIP equipment purchasing (infantry weapons only for now)

Balance

  • Rebalanced former Anti-Bully System (Now Called Public War Weariness) to a point where you can be at war and your war support is permanently crippled
  • Removed ungodly amount of research slots in the 2017 bookmark. Amount of slots now more consistent between bookmarks
  • Rebalanced buildings costs and construction speed modifiers so that you don’t end up in a situation where building speed is less than -100%
  • Added fuel consumption to units
  • Islamist rebels start at Isolation foreign policy to prevent them from joining factions too early. They will switch to Neo-Imperialism if they win their civil war
  • China now starts in its own faction
  • Syrian rebels in 2017 now start with off-map instead of on-map factories so that a unified Syria isn’t too strong
  • Admirals can no longer get traits of generals
  • GDP/C upgrade now checks buildings slots for all buildings, and not just civilian industry

Politics

  • Viktor Orban is now correctly Hungary’s PM in 2017
  • Indonesia is now correctly led by Joko Widodo in 2017
  • Reworked Portuguese politics so that Portugal is led by the PM, not the President
  • Reworked Serbian politics
  • Reworked Angolan politics
  • Reworked the political party window. You can now always boost a party regardless of their status, and boosting now correctly increases popularity by 2%
  • Suspending elections after winning them no longer requires you to form a coalition
  • Automatic coalition forming no longer cucks you out of your leading party, but instead just reduces your PP

Money

  • Some optimisations for the money system
  • You can now see the cost of higher spending levels
  • Prevented the AI from bankrupting themselves too fast
  • Fixed a bug where the economy size modifier of a country was calculated wrong
  • Added a refresh button next to the money button
  • Changing your export law now updates your income
  • Fixed a bug where you couldn’t invest in biofuel refineries
  • Fixed a bug where you could overinvest into military industry
  • Corruption level now affects your income (negatively)

EU

  • Added a new EU system

NATO System

  • Members of NATO that suspend elections will be kicked out of NATO
  • AI countries that are not Western will now correctly leave NATO
  • You can no longer kick countries out of a formed NATO faction
  • You can no longer assume the leadership of a formed NATO faction
  • You can no longer call NATO to help you if you are already in a faction

Map

  • Fixed states having multiple copies of SAM sites
  • Map rework for Armenia, Artsakh, Belarus, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro & Transnistria
  • Added Burmese rebels as on-map countries
  • Added Hong Kong on the map
  • Reduced the amount of territory owned by Hezbollah
  • Transferred Natuna Island from Malaysia to Indonesia
  • Moved Bolivia’s capital from La Paz to Sucre
  • US now owns the Kuwait naval base in both bookmarks

GFX

  • A bunch of portraits added to politicians missing them
  • A whole bunch of general portraits
  • New event pictures

Technology

  • Added industrial and computing tech trees
  • Added starting doctrines to Algeria, Dominican Republic, Puntland & Tanzania
  • Research companies now correctly reduce research time
  • Removed fighter and helicopter techs from Sudan
  • Guerilla tech now gives +4% instead of +30% infantry equipment capture ratio to prevent units from capturing more equipment than the enemy even has

OOB

  • Corrected the starting amounts of BMP-2s and BMP-3s for Russia
  • Sweden now gets the correct amount of Pbv 302s
  • Reduced starting equipment deficit for Myanmar
  • Unit namelists for ALB & AUS
  • Fixed an empty slot in Ghanaian 2000 OOB
  • Serbia no longer starts with the Montenegrin navy in 2017
  • Removed F-35C from ENG in 2000
