Welcome back foreign and domestic agents, you’ve stumbled across my 2nd vacation from destabilizing the United States. Well I am surprised since you find me not in another tropical paradise but rather the complete opposite.

Oh my name, well I guess some of you don’t know me so introductions are in order then.

My name is Luigi IV von Limingly, though most just call me Luigi or the American Schizo. Regardless, welcome and feast your eyes on my newest vacation destination. Greenland!…what, don’t look at me that way this place is like a blank canvas for creative development. Anyways, Greenland is a massive island in the northernmost part of the Atlantic ocean. Known for its 55 thousand residents of inuit descent and other European influences, Greenland is also known for its Great Ice Shelf that dominates the entirety of the interior with some depths reaching nearly two whole miles. But we’ll get to that soon, for now follow me as I show you around.

The National Situation

So we first have the national situation of Greenland….it exists, but it can have a better existence. So Greenland starts and is a Crown Colony of the Kingdom of Denmark and with it has given Greenland some mild influence with the EU. As the nation originally pulled out of the precursor institution which became the EU, Greenland really only shares the free travel that other EU member states and their citizens have between each other. Greenland also gets a stipend like subsidy from Denmark….but somehow the additional income and tooltip of $0.300 billion broke so I’m gonna have to go give someone a very short haircut for breakin my shit…..Anyways, Greenland has little population, no economy and in general is not a walk in the park so your starting situation is of course dire and in need of fixing. That’s where our next part comes into play.

The National Focus Tree

This is the national focus tree for Greenland. The tree will be your greatest guide into proving your self sufficiency and creating the future you wish to grab hold of. The first picture shows the pre-independence tree, a tree designated to essentially work on the pillars of self sufficiency. When 2008 comes around you will soon petition Denmark to approve the reforms to the 1970s Home Rule Act with the new Self Government Act. The small tree at the center bottom is the independence tree. Whether you or Denmark chooses peace or violence will determine your path of completion.

The next pictures in order are the economic tree and political trees which will allow you to lead the nation and develop its economy and politics around what you feel can make best the ambitions you wish to hold dear.

Following this we have the military tree and Great Ice Shelf tree. The military is non-existent and as such you will need to fundamentally build from scratch your armed forces, their officer corps and of course your equipment designs. But don’t worry, we found a couple boxes of scrap in a glacier so I’m sure we’ll be able to build something now.

Moving to the GIS tree, this is the magnum opus and the biggest hurdle to achieving the bliss of Greenland. There’s land under all that ice and as such you’ll need to invest massive amounts of money to make settlements, logistical networks and build the economy. Do all that and you just might find out what’s beneath the ice after all.

Finally we have the foreign policy tree, with the main conclusion being the formation of a Nordic United Nation … .but if you want a little more you also have the option as well. Where will your ambitions take you after all, for Scandinavia is one thing but what if you could form a European Federation, mayhaps some may say a Frozen Federation of the continent.

Decisions and Policies

Of course the national focus tree, your guide is not the only thing you have. For you will also be able to invest in means to help jump start your military and search the world high and low for manpower and a labor force through a variety of decisions via new policies you enact.

So that’s that folks, hope you’ll have fun sewing chaos into the heart of the western world and setting the stage for the play you wish to create. For now I flee, from one ocean to the next. Until we meet again!
